Players are angry about World of Tanks Blitz.
Update: While Wargaming has yet to make a comment still, people on the forums and reviews are reporting finally getting the pack delivered.
Original: World of Tanks Blitz is a spinoff of Wargaming’s World of Tanks game, and for the most part it seems to be pretty popular. Over 110 thousand people on Steam have given it a collective 80% approval rating and it holds a 24 peak concurrent count of more than 24,000 users on Steam alone. So what’s got players up in arms against Wargaming this time?
With this week focusing on Warhammer 40K, Wargaming’s properties are all selling DLC packs with Warhammer themed items in them. For Blitz specifically players can get their hands on the Warhammer Skulls Pack that includes skins and a bunch of other doodads and tchotchkes. It’s even available at a massive discount, $15 compared to the $60 regular asking price.
But the DLC has a 21% mostly negative rating from 51 reviews, and pretty much all of those positive reviews aren’t actually positive. Why? Simply put; it’s broken. Judging by the reviews, virtually nobody is actually getting the goods they bought. Out of the 51 reviews, only one person mentions actually receiving the items in the pack. Not good.
We will update if Wargaming acknowledges the issue publicly.
