Inkbound is dropping a new update this week. Starship of Terrors is available today as a free update to everyone’s favorite roguelite tactical RPG.
The update introduces the new Star Captain aspect as well as The Chillazer which is exactly what it sounds like. The update also adds new trinkets that give players buffs to their runs.
“We designed Inkbound’s world around books and storytelling to give us plenty of creative space,” says Mark Cooke, founder and CEO of Shiny Shoe, the studio behind the smash hit Monster Train. “The Starship of Terrors update gives us an irresistible opportunity to bring science fiction into our world of magic and fantasy. We love giving players the freedom to team up and fight the forces of evil, whether they choose to bring a bow, sword, or arsenal of lasers to battle. We’ve got plenty of other stories to share, and this is just the beginning.”
Players tired of FOMO in their games will be happy to hear that season passes in Inkbound no longer expire, giving you all the time in the world to level them up.
