Brings in a new wipe.
The next patch season of Dark and Darker is here, and that means one thing; a wipe. Yes, extraction games are like diapers. They need to be wiped regularly and often for the same reasons.
Outside of wiping character levels, gold, and items (but not cash shop stuff), the new season brings in the first iteration of the quest system and adventure titles. Quests can now be completed by talking to merchants and will offer gold rewards as well as access to better items and crafts.
Adventure titles give players the opportunity to take on high roller dungeons and gain ranks and rewards for the new season. The next hotfix is expected to bring in improvements to the matchmaking system, always under continued development, as well as the friend system and more languages in the coming future.
And finally the wizard now has access to a spell called explosion. What could possibly go wrong?
