Few people care about mobile ports on Steam.
Perfect World Mobile has over one million downloads on the Google Play store, which may have surprised Perfect World when they launched the game on Steam and nobody cared by comparison. Launching on February 22, over the last two days the game has pulled in a whole 86 peak concurrent users.
Of those few players, only 11 have given the game enough consideration to actually leave a Steam review and the results are pretty evenly split down the middle. At least until you remove the sarcastic positive reviews in which case the ratings are pretty darn low.
It’s not often that I talk about mobile MMOs failing on PC because if I covered every game it’d be all we talk about here. But it’s an interesting thing to remember when you move a game from mobile where consumers have absolutely no standard of quality and push it over to PC, only to find that you can’t get even a fraction of a fraction of a percent of those numbers.
