Vindictus: Defying Fate Announced As Single Player Game

You learn something new every day. Vindictus is one of the IPs I wouldn’t exactly expect to be spun off into its own franchise, but here we are. The folks at devCAT and Nexon have announced work on an upcoming single player spinoff for everyone’s favorite big booby hack and slash game Vindictus. Titled Vindictus: Defying Fate, the game is set to enter pre-alpha testing.

The announcement assures us this isn’t affecting work on Vindictus and will maintain the original game’s charm.

I would like to deliver the official statement from the dev team to our players following the announcement that Nexon’s newly developed game using the Vindictus IP, “Vindictus: Defying Fate,” will be entering a pre-alpha test on Steam.

“Vindictus: Defying Fate” is a brand-new game that is being developed.

Due to its use of the Vindictus IP, the game will contain familiar characters, NPCs, region names, monsters, and certain outfits.
