It’s finally coming back. Warner Bros. announced today the triumphant return of MultiVersus, everyone’s favorite brawler where Arya Stark can beat the friendship out of Steven Universe. Following its shuttering last year to continue development, MultiVersus is set to fully launch on May 28. That’s the day before May 29 for those of you checking your calendars.
The good news is that the team at Player First Games have been working behind the scenes this past year. There is a PvE mode, more stages, more characters, new netcode, and a shift to Unreal Engine 5. Better Shaggy sandwiches for everyone.
MultiVersus will be free to play and launch on pretty much everything except Switch. Cross-play and cross-progression supported across all systems.
