Jagex Finds New Home For Runefest 2025

It’s at your house.

There’s some good news from famed game developer Jamflex this week. Back in June we talked about Runefest collapsing due to the insolvency of its host company. Not Jagex, the venue people.

The good news is that Runefest 2025 will be hosted independently now, and in Andrew Gower’s backyard at that! Nah I’m just kidding, it’s at the NEC in Birmingham on March 1 and 2.

“We want to thank our fans for their patience while we found solutions to ensure RuneFest goes ahead, and we’re excited to confirm the new date in March next year,” said Meredith Ford, RuneFest Project Lead, Jagex. She continued, “RuneFest is now a standalone, independently-run event with the same ambition: bringing our wonderful community together to celebrate our games.”

Tickets automatically transfer with refunds granted no-questions-asked to those who can no longer attend. An additional 1,000 tickets will be available for purchase in addition to those that are refunded by people no longer attending.
