Original: Disney’s big D23 event has come and gone and with it the Fortnite stream with reveals has gone with it. But that doesn’t mean you’re too late to watch the stream, get yourself a fancy back bling, and wait for the new season to start.
Those of you who watched the stream (or stuck around for the ten minute minimum) might be asking yourselves “where is my back bling? I was promised a Peelverine back bling!” The good news is it’s still coming. The bad news is you have to wait a week.
According to the Fortnite website, the back bling will be handed out on August 16 when the new season starts. The good news is if you missed the live show you can still get in on the action.
If you can’t catch the stream live or just want to rewatch, Disney Horizons Live from D23 will be around until August 16, with the presentation on loop. To celebrate the announcements, all players who visit the island for 10 minutes will be granted the Peelverine Plush Back Bling* plus XP on August 16.
Fortnite’s next season is set to be Marvel themed with everyone’s favorite characters making an appearance. The trailer is live now, check it out.
So stay patient. Or lie and tell your friends you got one early.
