Big health pool.
Every once in a while Fortnite puts out an event the whole community can get behind. And is expected to get behind. This season’s theme behind Fortnite has been what else but Marvel. Players have been anticipating the return of Dr. Doom, and today he finally showed up to the party.
Following a brief event, the giant Dr. Doom appeared on the map with the single goal to defeat him. Doom has a shared health pool across the entire game and as you might imagine has a massive amount of health that players are going to whittle down slowly over many many matches.
It should be noted there is no dedicated mode for this event, players are simply expected to go by the honor system and not fight each other while in Doom’s area. And for what it’s worth, most players seem to be taking that honor rule seriously, with very little in-fighting in the combat zone.
Doom should be defeated within an hour or so from this posting.
