I called Realm Royale shutting down back in August when Hi-Rez Entertainment wrote “this game is shutting down” on the wall with big Sharpie by removing all the DLC packs on Steam and reducing the price of everything on the cash shop to 1 crown. And now Hi-Rez is making it canon.
In a post on the Steam board, Hi-Rez announced that Realm Royale will shut down on February 17, 2025.
A couple of months ago we reduced the cost of all items to 1 Crown and provided a daily login reward of 100 Crowns making Realm Royale effectively free for everyone. You can continue to enjoy these until the server’s sunset.
Called it. In addition, Divine Knockout did the same thing but nobody noticed because Divine Knockout doesn’t get much attention from anyone. Least of all Hi-Rez Studios.
