Tarisland Met With Boos And Low Steam Turnout

Mostly negative reviews.

Tarisland was once heralded as Chinese World of Warcraft, which should have been the first indication that the game would be poorly received once it came to Steam. And now it’s come to Steam and it’s been poorly received both in reviews and user count.

Tarisland bulked up an all-time peak of 213 players since its launch on October 24 and garnered a 34% “mostly negative” review score. And that’s out of 149 reviews total.

Some players have pointed out that the game now forces you to boost to level 40, removing that entire leveling system and all of the content and pushing the player into raids with user counts that are so low that the game is filling in missing spots with bots. Either way player comments on the forums and Reddit seem to indicate that Tarisland is crashing hard outside of China since its launch. And perhaps in China as well.
