On the standalone launcher.
Path of Exile 2 is coming out into early access soon and by soon I mean this week and by this week I mean Friday December 6. Those looking to get in early on the download action will be able to get hold of the standalone client a little earlier than usual.
Not on Steam though. In a post on the official forums, Path of Exile 2 will be available for download on the standalone client starting late December 5. Preloading is already available on Xbox and PlayStation should also go up on December 5 about 24 hours before launch.
With Path of Exile 2 launching into Early Access soon, we’ve had a lot of players asking for pre-download to ensure they can play on launch. To accommodate this, we’ll be making the standalone PC client available for download at 5pm on Thursday, December 5th (PST), or Dec 05, 2024 8:00 PM (EST) in your local time. Please note that when patching begins for Path of Exile 2 Early Access you may also have a few remaining files that you’ll need to update as well.
