If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Daybreak over the years, it’s that they love charity events. And they’re pretty skilled at the charity game, especially around the annual Extra Life charity event.
So it’s no surprise that Daybreak is boasting their $213,000 contribution to Extra Life, with that money going toward Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. A bulk of that came from EverQuest/EQII players ($139,000) and Standing Stone’s titles (nearly $40k), but everyone’s contribution is equally appreciated.
“Daybreak Games has absolutely leveled up the impact they’re making through Extra Life,” says Chelsey Crowne, Extra Life Manager at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. “From their awesome Super Team of studios to the creative incentives and milestones for their communities, they’ve turned gaming into a force for good, year over year.”
Daybreak has raised more than $650k in donations to Extra Life over the years, and assuredly 2025 will keep that train going.
And who doesn’t like charity?
