Black Desert Players Raise 100 Million Won For Charity

Doctors Without Borders.

Pearl Abyss this week handed a comically sized check to charity organization Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), or as many of you may better know them; Doctors Without Borders. The donation amounted to 100 million Korean Won or approximately $70,000 USD.

All of this was conducted through in-game events at the end of last year. This marks the sixth year of partnership between Pearl Abyss and MSF Korea.

“We sincerely thank all the adventurers who have actively participated in this donation event for six consecutive years,” said Semi Kim, Head of People & Culture at Pearl Abyss.

The donation will go toward providing medical aid in Nigeria, home treatment kits for Noma patients, establishing cholera treatment centers, supplying therapeutic food to combat malnutrition, and providing health care in conflict zones.
