In November.
Remember Tarisland? That mobile MMO that launched back in 2024 and was supposed to rival World of Warcraft? Well, it’s dead. The news shouldn’t come as a big surprise to the few remaining Tarisland players given the last news post on the official website was in February, but the folks at Tencent announced this week that the servers will indeed be shutting down this year.
November 4 to be exact. Registrations and payments have already been shut down as of September 4, but existing players (all ten of you) will be able to keep looting and grinding until the game closes down later this year.
Tarisland launched on Steam and was almost universally rejected with a 36% “mostly negative” review score and a laughably low concurrent user peak of 583.
