Thanks for the memories.
It’s a new year and a new time for all new horrors beyond our imagination in the real world. But in the gaming landscape it is a time for things we knew and things we expect. Like a game failing to find an audience and its servers shutting down.
Can you believe that Anthem launched seven years ago? February 2019. And this month, as EA announced last year, the servers will shut down. January 12 marks the final day of operations on the Anthem servers after a good five years of not receiving updates.
I can only expect that sometime in 2026 or 2027 that someone will figure out a way to get Anthem working offline, or release a private server tool. We’ll keep an eye out and check in if we find anything.
