Servers to shut down on September 15.
Aika is shutting down. T3Fun announced this past week that the 1000v1000 MMO would close its doors on September 15, 2021 at midnight EST. The game launched in 2009 under JoyImpact who were acquired by T3 Entertainment. The game has languished in relative obscurity for a number of years and has existed in a form of maintenance mode for quite some time. The last patch note listing is dated April 10, 2018.
With Aika shutting down, T3Fun will only have one game left in its library; Granado Espada. Earlier this year a staffer was sentenced to probation after having been discovered making and selling items in Granado Espada for real world money. Granado Espada’s last announcement was for server maintenance posted on October 20, 2020. According to users on the forum, T3Fun has been chronically silent about the game.
