Runefest Tickets Available To Purchase, In-Game and With Cash
Jagex has announced that tickets for Runefest 2015, the fan convention surrounding RuneScape as well as Jagex’s other products, are now available for purchase. Runefest takes place this year on Saturday October 3rd at London’s Tobacco Dock. Tickets cost £99 plus booking fees, and can also be paid with 35 RuneScape bonds.
Tickets will include entry to the event from between 10am and 11pm, a RuneFest goodie bag that includes an exclusive in-game item, access to all areas, and entrance to the RuneFest after-party. Similar to last year’s celebrations, Bonds can also be used to book accommodation, as well as flights to and from the UK.
October’s event will include special content reveals, Q&A panels, the “Golden Gnome” awards, and more. More information can be found on the official Facebook page.

SOE Live Fan Successor Up On Kickstarter
With SOE Live cancelled for the time being, fans are hoping to continue the festivities with their own event. Dubbed Project Fanfaire, the event will be held in August at the Hotel South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Ticket amounts are spelled out in the rewards. This is a fan planned convention to replace SOE Live while Daybreak Gaming Company makes the transition to a brand new company.
Tickets begin at $174.

MMOrning Shots: Virtual Convention
ROBLOX’s virtual convention has already come and gone, but the images will remain with us forever. Virtual BLOXcon took place on Saturday the 21st, a four hour block which involved everything from Q&A sessions to streaming game content, hall of fame awards for the best creations, and more. If you managed to catch the event, more power to you. If you didn’t, well there’s always next year.
