Kotaku today received a memo sent by GameStop corporate telling managers to disobey authorities orders to close down. If any local police have a problem with it, they can be handed a flyer with GameStop’s corporate number to speak to someone higher up.
“Due to the products we carry that enable and enhance our customers’ experience in working from home, we believe GameStop is classified as essential retail and therefore is able to remain open during this time.”
Youtube Camelot331 posted a video showing a regional conference call discussing closures and employees who get sick. Warning: This may be the most reprehensible thing you watch all month.
