Elder Scrolls Online Confirms Greymoor Launch Date

Coming May 26 on PC, June 9 on console.

With the ongoing global pandemic cancelling trade shows and putting game titles on hold, it might not be surprising to hear that the next Elder Scrolls Online update is going to be late. You might be happier to hear that the delay isn’t that long; one week.

In a dev blog sent out today, game director Matt Firor revealed that Greymoor is slated to launch on May 26 on PC and June 9 on consoles. Due to the intricacies of the team working from home, Firor doesn’t want to ignore the chance of some unforeseen circumstance causing further delay.

Despite the challenges, we are still on track for Update 26 and the Greymoor Chapter to launch only one week late. Now that Update 26 is on the PTS (check it out!), we are confident that we will be able to launch Tuesday, May 26th on PC/Mac and Tuesday, June 9th on Xbox One and PlayStation®4. This of course could change if something happens outside of our control. Remember, we haven’t launched a major ESO update while working remotely before, and unforeseen problems can and do crop up.

Those who really want to check out Greymoor can do so via the public test server.
