Outbreak New Dawn Alters Alpha Date At Last Minute

Sergey Titov’s new title is already not meeting deadlines.

Update: After previously redating the alpha to next week, Free Reign has made the client available today for download. The game itself is not playable and won’t be until next week.

Outbreak New Dawn is the latest regurgitated version of WarZ from Sergey Titov and Free Reign Entertainment, and the game hasn’t hit alpha and is already missing promised dates. Those who pre-ordered the game on the promise of April alpha testing are likely coming to the realization that that isn’t going to happen.

Outbreak New Dawn advertised three packages with the more expensive two tiers offering alpha access in April and the cheapest not until May. Well it looks like nobody is going to be playing until May as instead of announcing a delay the Outbreak page was quietly updated to replace the dates with an ambiguous windows.

Wave 1 is now set to begin “late April, early May” with wave 2 to begin two to three weeks after that. By that of course they mean preload is set to begin late April, early May. The actual alpha test won’t begin until next week.

Don’t give Sergey Titov your money. Ever.
