It’s a fun game.
Today’s video is one that I posted on Youtube a few days ago. The gameplay footage is from a new title called Songs For A Hero, it is a rather creative side scrolling platformer where the whole time you are playing the narrator is singing about what is going on.
I thought it would get annoying after a while and despite powering through the demo in one sitting I enjoyed it. There are a few forced lines but when you have this much singing in a game they probably can’t all be winners. It also goes to show that you can take an otherwise somewhat generic and oversaturated genre and make your product stand out with a unique feature.
Check out Songs For A Hero by the Castro Brothers. It’s cheap ($13) and fun.
