Five years after the North American servers went offline.
Dragon’s Prophet has been quietly running in Europe for the last five years since Daybreak Game Company shuttered the North American servers, but that time has finally come to an end. Gamigo announced this week that the last remaining vestiges of the 2013 title are being closed down as of May 29.
The shutdown will also take Savage Hunt, a sequel to Dragon’s Prophet that most of you probably forgot existed. Developer Runewaker Entertainment has not commented on whether it plans on relaunching Dragon’s Prophet with a new publisher in North America or Europe but given how long it has been since the NA servers shut down that ship has probably sailed.

Update: This piece originally listed Trion Worlds as the North America publisher when it was in fact Daybreak Game Company hosting it at the time.
