Stadia Watch: Elder Scrolls Online Is The Perfect Stadia Game

Truly it is.

ZeniMax made waves this week with the announcement that The Elder Scrolls Online will be coming to Stadia in June with PC cross-play and being free for Stadia Pro members. Well maybe not waves. For Google it is a huge catch, Elder Scrolls Online is ridiculously popular and the free version includes the base game and Morrowind expansion pack.

For players on the other hand this could be a great thing. Elder Scrolls Online regardless of what system you are playing on is a massive download and can take a prohibitively long time to set back up once you’ve deleted it from your system. With Stadia’s big draw being zero set up time, it’s easy to see the exception pull of just being able to boot it up and play. No downloads, no patching. Just play.

Elder Scrolls Online will also have content parity, so you won’t have to wait for patches to roll out on it after they do on PC. Check it out June 16.
