Epic Games is gearing up for the launch of Fortnite Season 3 and that means a map-changing live event to kick off the new season. If you haven’t been keeping up with Fortnite lore, this season has been all about the secret spies. Factions EGO and ALTER constructed bases on the map with characters joining the factions as the weeks went on. Main bad guy Midas has ween working on a doomsday device that is expected to go off and destroy much of the map on June 15.
As with the Travis Scott event, The Device will appear as its own game mode. Players are encouraged to get into the game up to a half hour before the event begins in order to secure a spot. The event is not limited attendance, the recommendation is in case of any technical problems.
