Public open beta starts June 27.
Big changes are coming to deadworld. APB Reloaded has announced that the upcoming big engine upgrade is finally ready to go into open beta. Beta period begins June 27 from 11-2p.m. Pacific. Two districts will be available to use; social and asylum. You will need to beta client and your existing APB Reloaded account.
Meanwhile on the live servers, the June 24 update will introduce Anne to the Joker store, who will be the official liaison for all black-market deals. You can now rent legendaries with Joker tickets directly from the in-game Joker store instead of going through ARMAS. Paying the rental fee unlocks for 7 days. Occasionally Anne will make a “mistake” and not log that the gun is rented, at which point the player gets to keep it permanently.
Not to fret, as after a certain number of rentals you’ll just be given the gun. Every 20 rentals leads to a guaranteed unlock. Joker mystery boxes will be retired with APB Reloaded moving away from loot boxes that give garbage the player doesn’t care about.
