Here’s one for 2020 you probably didn’t see coming. Pearl Abyss has announced this week that Black Desert Online will play host to a crossover event with Netflix series Cursed. Cursed is a ten episode miniseries that premiered this month on the streaming platform.
To celebrate the event, which hasn’t happened yet, Black Desert Online is free to download starting today. If you reach level 50 before August 5 then the game is yours to keep for free. Forever. Or until the servers go kaput at some point in the distant future.
More details on the event will be made public very likely after this article is published but before the event launches. Preferably that way. It should be noted that this particular free play event is in reference to Black Desert Online and as such is contained to the PC version.
