No localized in English, unfortunately.
Champions of Titan is officially back on Steam but not in a way that any of my readers will likely be interested in. Not to rudely imply that any of you were interested in Champions of Titan before, as otherwise the game wouldn’t have died twice. I am somewhat excited.
Those of you who follow MMO Fallout lore will recall that Champions of Titan used to go under the pseudonym Wild Buster. It was published by the unfortunately named Insel Games and banned off of Steam due to the Insel Games CEO strong-arming developers into posting positive reviews, a big no-no. Wild Buster changed its name to Champions of Titan and relaunched under IDC Games. IDC Games shut down Champions of Titan after providing a service that absolutely nobody would consider competent or professional and here we are today.
Champions of Titan reappeared on Steam under the name Destructive Effect, or however it actually translates from Chinese. The developer and publisher is listed as 9Xgame and Xstudios.net. I don’t believe either of them are the original developer. It is performing exactly as you would expect Champions Of Titan to do in its third or fourth attempt at not bombing in the market. There are four people playing as I write this story.
The release only has language support in Chinese. You don’t really need to know Chinese to play the game because everything is very linear and pointed out to you. I know how everyone has been clamoring for the return of Champions of Titan.
