Square Enix has acknowledged a bug that has popped up with patch 5.35 of Final Fantasy XIV that may be causing pets to not follow their owners when moving around the map. The issue seems to be relegated to the Bozjan Southern Front and naturally the team is looking into why this is happening and how it can be fixed quickly and cleanly.
Positive reinforcement coupled with a handful of banana slices have so far proven unsuccessful in convincing people’s pets to keep up the pace.
