Those who started during the free play period.
Black Desert’s free play event has come to a close, however gamers on PlayStation have been granted reprieve and a little bit of extra game time due to extenuating technical issues. Foremost players were unable to purchase bundles that included the base game, the base game being an operative necessity for those who wanted to continue playing.
It looks like the PlayStation store got confused and assumed that those with the free play app already owned the game, thus precluding them from actually buying it. Players who logged in over the course of the free play period and created a family name can continue playing until this issue is ironed out.
It is identified that Adventurers using the PS Store in North America, Asia, and Japan are limited from purchasing packages (Traveler, Explorer, Conqueror Edition) that include the base game after participating in the Free Play Weekend event.
We are currently looking into the issue to resolve it as soon as possible.
Pearl Abyss has stated that the fix announcement will come in a separate post.
