The big game turns twenty.
RuneScape is turning twenty this year and that can only mean one thing; events. The festivities all kick off today in the form of The Grand Party, an anniversary event that brings players together with more memorable characters. Players can expect content to come for the next twelve months including a multi-part anniversary questline.
Old School RuneScape players meanwhile will see the launch of the first anniversary event. Players are tasked with helping the gnome child battle demons and dragons of the past. January also brings with it the full launch of RuneScape for iOS and Android. And for fans of more paper-based medium, RuneScape: The First 20 Years – An Illustrated Story is being published as a full companion book by Darkhorse Games.
