Ubisoft rolls out another broken live event.
Proper quality assurance is an idea seemingly not familiar with Ubisoft’s live event team. Immortals Fenyx Rising is in the middle of a live event cross over with the Netflix show Blood of Zeus. For one week players can complete a quest and receive a handful of goodies. You wouldn’t know this if you were playing on the New Game+ mode, because the mission has been completely broken since launch and Ubisoft has yet to fix it with the event period already halfway over.
Players on New Game+ are not seeing the quest pop up at all while those on the standard game mode are having issues of their own. Players are having problems with the quest randomly disappearing, not updating properly, creatures never spawning that need to be killed, the quest constantly resetting, amid other problems.
Ubisoft is aware of the issue and (allegedly) working on a fix. It is unknown how they will work with the event being completely broken for a lot of users before it ends on the 28.
