Next week’s update cancelled amid ongoing restoration process.
RuneScape is still reeling from a technical malfunction that knocked out access for the game to a number of accounts back on March 4. The good news is that the team is making progress on restoring access to locked accounts. The bad news is that another week of content updates is getting rescheduled and won’t be coming out next week.

We’re planning to return to regular updates from March 22nd, with a jam-packed schedule including the Rex Matriarchs, followed by a new Easter Seasonal Event and Pi-Mas fixes the following week.

The plan is to work on impacted Jagex staff accounts in a closed environment, then move on to a beta test for restoring accounts for the wider audience. The wider test is planned for late next week. Content updates are expected to return on March 22.
