Surprise! Jagex announced an overhaul to the RuneScape skill Divination coming Monday, May 4. Insert Star Wars reference here. The divination skill released in 2013 and revolves around the player collecting vast amounts of energy from divination spots and converting it into stuff that helps with other activities. For example players can craft items that automatically heal the player or even resurrect them on death.
The new divination will be more afk-friendly with collection points remaining in a more centralized location and lasting longer. More craftable rewards are coming such as a higher tier bank-transportation porter and better fish transmutation.
The update coincides with RuneScape’s next double experience week. Convenient.
