ESO Console Updates Delayed A Week

Seven more days for that sweet next-gen experience.

The Elder Scrolls Online is gearing up for its next-gen console updates, but you’ll need to wait just a little longer to get those sweet next gen upgrades. As announced today, the “console enhanced” update will launch on June 15 while the Blackwood update will remain on schedule along with backwards compatibility mode on June 8.

In an abundance of caution, we are moving the ESO: Console Enhanced launch out a week. We are doing this so we are not launching Update 30 (Blackwood) at the same time as Console Enhanced and can give both our undivided attention. The new date for ESO: Console Enhanced on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 is now Tuesday, June 15.

Hopefully everything goes smoothly. The console enhanced update aims to make the game much more purty, not to mention improving load times and performance across the board. What you would expect from a generational upgrade in console versions.
