Today’s video comes to us from Summer Game Fest 2021, with Amazon showcasing more details on the upcoming MMO New World. The first half of the video highlights updates including new biomes, expeditions, and more. The second half of the video is a Q&A between Scot Lame and Geoff Keighley.
The Q&A goes over changes from last year’s beta with revamps to the spawning system, changes to combat, crafting, pvp, etc. There is acknowledgement of the recent controversy over perceived pay to win that has already been addressed.
New World enters beta July 20 with a launch on August 31. Pre-orders now live on Steam.
