Vague comments about inappropriate content removed from WoW/Classic.
Changes are coming to World of Warcraft, according to a rather vague statement from Blizzard developers. In a post on Twitter today, the World of Warcraft team issued a statement acknowledging the team’s sentiments around the recent lawsuit by the state of California, with promise of changes to create a more inclusive work environment. In addition to making the office space more inclusive, the team is also working to remove “references that are not appropriate for our world” from Azeroth.
Over the next few days players should expect content deemed inappropriate to be removed from both World of Warcraft and its classic counterpart. What does that content entail? We’re trying to find out. The announcement has been reposted below.
