That’s the 17 of August. 2021.
Square Enix today confirmed that the next big update for Marvel’s Avengers will launch on August 17. For those keeping track, that is prior to August 18. The free update is dubbed War For Wakanda and includes the third new playable hero Black Panther as well as two new villains, new environments, new missions, and more.
All of the content in the expansion is free. As with other heroes, Black Panther will include a battle pass that can be leveled to obtain various goodies and cosmetics. Going by tradition the pass should cost roughly $10, however it can be bought with premium currency earned by completing other character passes. The pass itself should provide more currency back than what was spent on it.
