Wizard 101 celebrates with events.
Wizard 101 is turning thirteen years old, effectively making it a grandparent in the eyes of the MMO world. Between September 2 and the 8 players can log in to take part in the celebrations, gain free access to Wizard City and Krokotopia, there’s giveaways, birthday perks, and all sorts of stuff going on all month long.
KingsIsle Entertainment Game Director Leah Ruben had the following to say;
“Since launch, we have delivered 46 major updates, more than quadrupled the size of known Spiral, updated our character models and first world’s graphics, and added hundreds of hours of fully voiced over storyline content. We also hosted different events weekly and incentivize players to earn unique and valuable rewards by completing challenges and earning points on the Scroll of Fortune, which is our version of a ‘Battle Pass.’ There’s always something to do in Wizard101, like fishing, crafting, and studying monstrology, and this fall, there will be even more to do once our next new world – Lemuria — debuts.”
Lemuria’s launch will boost the level cap of Wizard101 to 150, but you’ll need to wait a little longer for more details on what else the update shall bring. For now, enjoy the cake.
