Warns the community to stop doing that.
Gaijin Entertainment sells War Thunder on the premise of military accuracy, or specifically as accurate as the public is aware of military vehicles. War Thunder also uses modern military craft, meaning a lot of the more specific details are still classified out of concern for the safety of the people operating them. And that means sharing those details is generally a crime.
Which one user committed by apparently sharing a classified gunner manual to the Leclerc S2 tank, the user claiming to have been a crew member. Moderators on the War Thunder forum quickly deleted links to the document, reminding users that leaking documents puts lives at risk. Why did the user share it? To win an argument online about turret speed.
Guys its not funnny to leak classified Documents of modern equipment you put the lives of many on stake who work daily with the Vehicles! Keep in Mind that those documents will be deleted immediately alongside sanctions. Thanks for reading!
Incidentally this is not the first time classified military documents have been leaked to win an argument on War Thunder. The same thing happened earlier this year by a user unhappy that the Challenger 2 main battle tank was not 100% accurate.
The lesson? Don’t send Gaijin Entertainment leaked military docs.
