ABK Alliance starts up fundraising.
Activision Blizzard employees are going on strike, as indicated by a post to Twitter by the ABK Workers Alliance. The exact number of employees participating in the strike is currently unknown. The strike itself appears to be from a combination of factors, particularly the walkout protest from yesterday of Activision QA workers. Activision announced this week that a number of QA testers from Raven Software would be laid off in January.
Those interested in supporting Blizzard workers can contribute to the strike fund linked in the tweet below.
Today, the ABK Worker’s Alliance announces the initiation of its strike. We encourage our peers in the Game Industry to stand with us in creating lasting change. For those who wish to join in solidarity, please consider donating to our Strike Fund.https://t.co/IauGyxuLYG
