It’s been a while since we talked about Valve banning a developer that wasn’t manipulating reviews or hosting porn or laundering money, but just engaging in some harmless trolling. Today’s developer of note is in fact Thumbtack, with the title Super Benbo Quest: Turbo Deluxe. Also known as “mario nintendo copywrite infridgement videogame BENBO QUEST nintendo” aka “Team Fortress 3” aka “Super Benbo Quest: Turbo Deluxe AKA @MellowOnline1 Is An Annoying Dweeb who hates fun”. I think you can figure out why the game was banned.
Since Thumbtack so kindly asked to be banned from Steam, Valve have since acquiesced and removed both Super Benbo Quest and its unreleased sequel. As of this publishing, both pages redirect to the Steam home page.
