FYI: Rose Online Has Already Been Hacked

Usernames and partial passwords leaked.

Rose Online has just relaunched and players should be aware that the game has already been hacked. The developers posted earlier this week that a data leak has occurred and has not been fixed, resulting in the emails and partial passwords being exposed. Players who have accounts with Rose Online are recommended to change your passwords and not use the same password on multiple accounts.

It has been reported to us that the data leak has NOT been fixed. It has been disclosed to us that emails and, less frequently, partial passwords are being exposed. Since this is quite a high security incident we will be shutting down the servers to address this issue. Unfortunately, most of our team is now unavailable to work on this so the servers will remain shutdown until tomorrow.

We apologize for interrupting your gameplay time but we respect your privacy and it is our responsibility to resolve this security issues without exposing anymore data.
