Ring of Elysium is dead and developer Aurora Studio killed it. The game is no longer available on Steam to download as a new player, and a recently posted announcement notes that the servers will shut down on December 1, 2023.
Why the closure? It may be related to the game not breaking 1,000 concurrent players since May 2022. It might be because they removed fan favorite map Mt. Dione and Europa Island wasn’t as well received. Perhaps it’s all the cheaters.
We regret to inform you that Ring of Elysium will be terminated with effect from 1 December 2023, 0:00(PST) (“Termination Date”). You will still be able to enjoy the game and use any existing in-game items until the Termination Date. The timeline for terminating Ring of Elysium is set out below, please understand that the exact date and time of termination may differ slightly by region.
