Forty hours to beat the battle pass.
RuneScape’s Hero Pass. Say those words and you can turn even a Jesuit priest into a violent creature of spite and anger. It’s been a little over a month since the RuneScape Hero Pass made the community extra angry, and Jagex has spent the last month trying to piece together its shattered public image.
Well this week’s update brings forward a few more updates. Most notably that “hero levels,” that being those after 99 in the battle pass, have been reduced from 3000 points to 1000. Additionally, the daily hero points for daily missions has increased from 375 to 1,050 meaning if you do your dailies you are getting at least a level per day.
Jagex claims that these changes mean the pass should take about 40 hours of gameplay.
Secondly, following on from our balancing proposal, we have rebalanced Hero Pass to take a significantly reduced time of around 40 hours of gameplay.
Is this true? I don’t know. It does seem to be a lot faster. Dailies come back next week.
