Grinding Gear Games posted on the forums to confirm that yes, this post was fake.
Avast didn’t catch anything coming from the website, nor did a full computer scan turn up anything suspicious. If you did visit the website while it was up, you’re going to want to run a virus scan regardless. If you visited it and submitted your info, you know what to do.
