Daybreak Bought the Palia Dev

Singularity 6.

Singularity 6 is now part of the Enad Global 7 collective. As announced this week, Daybreak Game Company has bought up Singularity 6, the developers behind Palia. They even convinced Singularity 6 to lie in their press release and claim that Daybreak “supports” H1Z1, a game that the company notoriously fired the entire team for several years ago.

The good news is that this hopefully means Palia won’t be on the chopping block, as the company has already undergone multiple layoff rounds. The bad news? We’ll find out the next time the company decides to renege on three years of declaring who owns them. Or if they just quietly sell them off and hope nobody notices, like Cold Iron.

Check out the official announcement.
