Moon Rover Games.
NCSoft has announced a strategic investment in Swedish studio Moon Rover Games, a new studio made up of dudes from EA Games and Ubisoft. The Korean studio announced the investment of roughly 37 million Swedish Krona which in my opinion sounds meatier than the $3.5 million it works out to in USD.
What is Moon Rover Games working on? A cooperate shooter set in a new IP. What kind of IP? A new one, I just told you that. More details presumably to come not in the past, but in the future. Now I have no insider information on what the game is about, but I’m going to pitch my two cents in and suggest this game be set in a utopia that, plot twist, becomes a dystopian nightmare.
