Remember when Overwatch was good?
If your game has been out for long enough to be conceivably older than some of the kids playing it, you are legally required to deploy a classic mode so that they can remember the nostalgic days. When they were two.
Blizzard announced today that Overwatch is getting just such a classic mode. Running from November 12 through the second of December, Overwatch: Classic will limit players to original heroes, original skins, original abilities, and original maps. Taking it all the way back to 2016 and, hey, Overwatch has been around for eight years now.
21 heroes, 12 maps, four game modes. No hero limits, no role limits, and all the 6v6 you can eat. The only thing it’s missing are those nostalgic loot boxes. Check it out.
