New World is doing another round of server mergers. The folks at Amazon announced this week that New World will merge six servers in an effort to “enhance your gaming experience,” meaning closing down the lower population worlds.
The list of servers affected are below:
Several world populations will merge:
– Artorius (SA East) → Devaloka (SA East)
– Isabella (US West) → El Dorado (US West)
– Lilith (US East) → Maramma (US East)
– Centaurus (EU) → Asterion (EU)
– Kronos (EU) → Aaru (EU)
– Sutekh (AP Southeast) → Delos (AP Southeast)
According to the announcement, players can expect that character creation and transfer will be disabled on the affected servers on November 25 with wars canceled and refunded. Players will have the option to transfer off of retiring worlds to a world of their choosing.
On December 5, however, those still on those worlds will have their transfer decided for them when access is disabled and the servers are fully retired.
